The International Simulation Workshop 2010 on Organic Electronics and Photovoltaics

This year's workshop is organized during 3 days, from
Wednesday June 30 to Friday July 2, 2010 in Winterthur, Switzerland.

Participants are invited to submit abstracts on their work that will be presented in the proper session.

Sessions are organized by topics:

Day 1 (OLED), Wednesday 30 June 2010

After welcoming all participants, the workshop will start with an introductory presentation by Fluxim and continue with 2 invited talks of 30' in the field of OLEDs and several contributed talks. In the afternoon hands-on exercises with Setfos will handle emissive calculations, emission zone fits and exciton quenching at electrodes.

At the end of Day 1, a complimentary dinner will be offered to all participants.

Day 2 (OPV), Thursday 1 July 2010

The activities will start with a presentation by Fluxim about simulating light penetration in any configuration of thin, coherent and thick, incoherent layers. Hands-on exercises will focus on calculation of layer absorbances, Isc and generation of electrical current. CELIV measurements for the extraction of charge mobility parameters will also be reproduced by simulation. 2 invited talks will be presented along with several contributed talks. IV-curve simulations will be discussed as well.

Day 3 (Hybrid and Inorganic Solar Cells), Friday 2 July 2010

The 3rd day starts with an invited talk about the latest developments in the field of dye-sensitized solar cells. Several contributed talks on modeling such solar cells are provided in the morning. The afternoon is dedicated to modeling inorganic thin-film solar cells.
