The Institute of Computational Physics and Fluxim AG invite scientists & engineers in the fields of organic optoelectronics and photovoltaics as well as the setfos user community to participate in the
International Simulation Workshop 2010 on Organic Electronics and Photovoltaics
from Wednesday, June 30th to Friday, July 2nd in Winterthur, Switzerland.
The workshop was a great success with almost 50 participants, exciting talks, stimulating hands-on exercises and many fruitful discussions among the participants. See our photograph page for more impressions.
Scope of the Workshop
Motivated by the success of Fluxim's International User Workshops in 2008 and 2009, this year we offer an extended workshop that includes lectures and contributed talks given by international researchers active in the fields of organic and thin-film optoelectronics. Particular emphases is given to electronic and optical device simulation of:
- organic LEDs
- organic solar cells
- inorganic thin film solar cells
- dye-sensitized solar cells
During the 3-day workshop, Fluxim staff will also present hands-on exercises with Setfos 3.1, the Semiconducting Thin-Film Optical Simulation software.
Organization
The workshop is co-organized by the Institute of Computational Physics and Fluxim AG and is located at the ZHAW campus in Winterthur, which is a 10-minute train ride from Zurich Intl. Airport.
